Hot Afternoon // 2-3pm

I'm currently making this entry at 5pm, while it is in fact hot, it is not between 2 and 3 o'clock. However I had my thought occur to me, my memory of what time is the right time for data entry on a cyberpunk scale and attitude.

So, more on the "right time". The city seems to slow somewhat to a lazy hum. An undercurrent of stagnation with a hint of engines being primed for the evening. That's when the sun sets, that's when the great machine that is Los Angeles comes to life. You first begin to hear the ignition fire around 5pm and soon it's no longer a hum but a buzz and then that buzz turns into a cacophony of vibrant life balanced precariously on the knife edge of death.

I sit here and write about such things and seldom explore them. It wouldn't be wise to thrust oneself into the underbelly of the great machine when it's running at full blast. Use your monitor, use technology. Monitor it from the safe confines of your own home. Let television be your window to the world. Television, the great far sight device. The closest thing to magic ever created by man.
